Flower Care
Your flowers were thoughtfully selected and handcrafted by our floral designers. With a little care, you can help preserve their beauty and enjoy your arrangement for as long as possible.
Because fresh flowers are natural and seasonal, their lifespan may vary depending on the flower variety, environment, temperature, and care.
Fresh Flower Arrangements
Keep your arrangement in a cool, comfortable environment away from direct sunlight, excessive heat, drafts, and air-conditioning vents.
Check the water level daily and carefully add fresh, clean water as needed.
Avoid placing your arrangement near ripening fruits, as they naturally release ethylene gas, which can cause flowers to age more quickly.
Remove any flowers or foliage that begin to wilt to help maintain the beauty and freshness of the remaining arrangement.
Wrapped Bouquets
For the best results, place your bouquet in water as soon as possible.
Before placing the flowers in a vase:
- Use a clean vase and fill it with fresh, cool water.
- Carefully trim approximately ½ to 1 inch from the stems at a 45-degree angle.
- Remove any foliage that would sit below the waterline.
- Arrange the flowers in the vase and keep them in a cool location.
- Replace the water every 1–2 days and trim the stems again when necessary.
Roses
Roses appreciate plenty of clean water.
Keep the water fresh and make sure the stems remain submerged. If transferring your roses to a vase, trim the stems at an angle before placing them in fresh water.
Keep roses away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and strong drafts.
It is natural for the outer protective petals of some roses to show slight variations or markings. These guard petals help protect the flower during transportation and handling.
Box & Foam Arrangements
Many of our signature arrangements are designed in floral foam.
Do not remove the flowers from the floral foam.
Check the arrangement daily and slowly add a small amount of fresh water directly to the center of the floral foam when needed.
Pour carefully to avoid overflowing or damaging the decorative box or container.
Orchids
Keep orchids in bright, indirect light and away from intense direct sunlight.
Avoid overwatering. Orchid roots should not remain constantly saturated with water.
Because orchid varieties and arrangements may require different care, please contact our team if you have questions about your specific orchid arrangement.
Preserved & Everlasting Roses
Preserved roses are real roses that have undergone a specialized preservation process and do not require water.
To protect their beauty:
- Do not water them.
- Avoid direct sunlight.
- Keep them away from excessive humidity.
- Do not crush or frequently touch the petals.
- Keep them indoors in a cool, dry environment.
With proper care, preserved roses can maintain their appearance for an extended period of time.
